I’m comfortable with people making any choices surrounding their bodies….doubly so with these smarmy busybodies for bad choices….but I make my own choices.

I had a trauma surgeon quote this “31,000” lie last week at a seminar. I walked out on his lecture. I told the hosts that I was offended to have to PAY for political propaganda. They didn’t care.
You should have yelled out “And TEN TIMES THAT from medical misadventure!” I’m sure the host would have given a rip about that.
When I was a lowly law clerk I participated in an action that involved the soon-to-be ex-husband occupying the home he owned with his soon-to-be ex-wife. We had bodyguards along, as the soon-to-be ex-wife had already used hers. As the chief bodyguard told us about what was going to happen, he asked if anyone was armed. I asked the lawyer I clerked for, “Tom, are you packing?” He replied, “My mouth is my weapon.” The bodyguards were somewhat amused by that, and the chief said something on the order of, “Well, don’t try stopping any bullets with it.”. To build on what Weer’d Beard said, this commenter, Mr. Stasi may not want to carry, but when he finds he needs to, he won’t have a choice at that moment on whether he wants to change his mind.
