Quote of the day—ISIS

To the filthy and coward non-believers and to the holders of the Christ emblem, we bring the good news, which will keep them awake, that a new generation in the Islamic State … that loves death more than life … this generation will only grow steadfast on the path to Jihad, stay determined to seek revenge and be violent toward them.

ISIS spokesman killed in Aleppo, group says
[Read that carefully and remember this:

  • They think of you as a filthy and cowardly non-believer.
  • As long as you are a non-believer ISIS will be determined to be violent against you.
  • The new generation in the Islamic State loves death more than life.

It would appear to me they desire we make one of only two active choices. In either case we give them what they want. Although there is potential for other, long term, active choices if I were directly faced with making the decision on short notice I know what my choice would be.—Joe]

  1. Note that to ISIS, and other groups like it, “non-believer” doesn’t mean “non-Muslim”. It means anyone who does not specifically adhere to their particular fanatical branch of Islam. For example, any Shiite is a “non-believer” in their terminology, and I think most Sunnis as well.
There’s a quote attributed (apparently incorrectly) to General “Storming Norman” Schwarzkopf: “I believe that forgiving them is God’s function. Our job is simply to arrange the meeting.” It clearly applies here, and expressed what we have to be prepared to do.

  2. I didn’t read that the quote was from ISIS (mostly because my mind DEMANDS I try to decipher twitter handles, and the ones you quote tend to be pretty cryptic/word-salad)

And I was waiting for the anti-gun line.

Let’s see, Child-hood insults, anti-Christian statements, and threats of violence.

Can you really see the difference between ISIS and Leftist Twitter Trolls?

    • There isn’t much difference there. That’s why I’ve said that the Leftists are the Sinn Fein to the Islamists IRA.

  3. We don’t have to nuke them til they glow and shoot them in the dark. We don’t have to kill anyone. We just need to end immigration. All of it, since vetting is fallible and America literally doesn’t need one more foreigner to be a better country. Then start deporting the immigrants from Muslim countries that are already here.

    • Unfortunately, the “no immigrants” notion fails when you realize that a number of major terrorist attacks have been perpetrated by US citizens.

      • That’s like saying it’s not worth putting a roof on my house because sometimes roofs leak. You can’t eliminate the evil in all men’s hearts, but you can keep more people who hate our culture and values from coming here. And you can send as many as possible back, whether they’ve foolishly been granted citizenship or not.

      • And why were they ‘US citizens’? Because their Mommies and their Daddies were immigrants from moslem countries, just like Al-Awlaki.

    • ”We just need to end immigration.”

To say that we “just” need to [fill-in-the-blank] is to say that to [fill-in-the-blank] is ALL that we need.

Your statement is a bunker mentality. If it works, then then you are safe inside your bunker, but you dare not venture outside it. If it gives them the rest of the world, with all the rest of what the world contains, then you are not safe even inside your bunker.

The statement Joe quoted is a terminator mentality. If a man tells you that he longs for death while trying to kill you, then you should take him at his word, as the alternative is a mite risky. You have a choice between two alternatives: 1) defend yourself, and help him to his desired end; or, 2) wait for him to end you.

I’ll give you a hint. A fence keeps the sheep in; it does not keep the wolf out.

  4. “hat a new generation in the Islamic State … that loves death more than life ”

And I am all for letting you get what you love the most…. Different calibers available.

  5. Our enemy is getting bolder as we get weaker, stupider, more confused, irritated, divided and distracted, losing sight or our fundamental principles. It’s that simple.

The story of Lord of the Flies comes to mind. This is Lord of the Flies on a global scale. In the black & white movie, I recall the final scene wherein the American soldier placed his feet firmly on the beach and stood tall, and that was the end of the shenanigans right then and there.

When we stand firm and tall, with our founding principles as our guide, the world is a much better place. When we fail, the Orcs are emboldened. Seeing their opportunity they creep in and start taking over, and we have asked for it.

I’ve had enough of the Ooh Rah! bullshit too. We get all pumped up full of hate and blood lust, we’re now our own enemy. Sure; kill the hell out of the enemy, but know what the fuck you’re fighting, and what you’re supporting, and how the two differ, otherwise it’s just gangs fighting gangs and if that happens then as far as I’m concerned all sides should lose.
