I’ve been wondering about this

I’ve speculated with a few people and asking their opinion about the DNC email on Wikileaks. It would seem to me that the U.S. Intelligence community would have an extremely strong motive to damage Hillary. They have a far better motive than the Russians do. After all, one could make a good case that the Russians know they can buy off Hillary if they want.

Of course I’m not the only one to have thought of this possibility.

Via Tyler Durden:

So if the FBI really wanted them they can go into that database and get them right now,” he said of Clinton’s emails as well as DNC emails.

Asked point blank if he believed the NSA has copies of “all” of Clinton’s emails, including the deleted correspondence, Binney confirmed.

“Yes,” he responded. “That would be my point. They have them all and the FBI can get them right there.”

Binney then went on to speculate about something even more shocking: that the hack of the DNC could have been coordinated by someone inside the U.S. intelligence community angry over Clinton’s compromise of national security data with her email use.

And the other point is that Hillary, according to an article published by the Observer in March of this year, has a problem with NSA because she compromised Gamma material.  Now that is the most sensitive material at NSA. And so there were a number of NSA officials complaining to the press or to the people who wrote the article that she did that. She lifted the material that was in her emails directly out of Gamma reporting. That is a direct compromise of the most sensitive material at the NSA. So she’s got a real problem there. So there are many people who have problems with what she has done in the past. So I don’t necessarily look at the Russians as the only one(s) who got into those emails.

  1. Nice! I hadn’t thought of that possibility, but it’s a plausible one.

It would explain why the RNC wasn’t hacked (that we know of… yet…). I have no love for the DNC, but I don’t believe the RNC is inherently better at data security. Nor do I believe the Russians would strike at Hillary alone. But the American intelligence community certainly has a vested interest in Hillary not becoming President.

It couldn’t happen to a nicer person, as my mom used to say.

Now here’s a question: of the intelligence community has gone off the reservation, actively sabotaging Hillary’s run, why hasn’t Obama done (or said) anything about it? That’s not in character – unless he’s in on it.

    Good times…

    • The Obama camp and the Clinton camp hate one another more than the Kennedy camp hated the Johnson camp.
If Hillarity is elected, Obama’s legacy is pretty much whatever he says it is. If she is not elected, Obama pretty much has to pardon her, which will recast his legacy into “The man who pardoned Hillary.”, or the Dem’s Gerald Ford with a tan.
If he doesn’t pardon her, Trump can easily reopen emails issues on the behest of the security community, and she could be the highest ranking official to have “given” secrets to the enemy since Harry Dexter White, except she will go to jail unless she od’s on Digitalis, too..

  2. sirs:

everybody is hacked. you got a computer w/ email. you are hacked.

i don’t worry about it so very much. they can figure out whether i am serious or not. it amuses me.

but, hilary. i may be stupid, but, hilary is monumentally stupid in the in the “n-th” degree, as they say. now, it is not past my imagination to think that she might be divulging stuff to the rooskies on purpose, or at the direction of her handlers, or, for money. (doesn’t seem much she won’t do, and hasn’t done, for a little dough.) any and all of those reasons. that is not what is stupid. that is what spies and traitor do for a living.

nope, the stupid thing is going about it in a way that would leave her open to detection of same by any smart kid, or foreign intelligence agency in the world. to think she could get away w/ handling that information in such a manner is the absolute height of arrogance, or psychological and psychiatric illness. and, stupid to the bone.

    • I always enjoy your insights john jay. I would add that The Hildabeast views FOIA requests as beneath her and might impinge on her illegal transactions, so she did stupid things to avoid them.

So, I would chalk up her incompetence to be driven by ideology and corruption.

Of course, pride cometh before the fall is a good reason you noted, too.

  3. The likelihood of HRC being prosecuted or otherwise seriously punished for anything is extremely low. For every bit of dirt people have on her, she has dirt, or credible threats against them. What’s the incentive to go after her? What does someone at NSA or the FBI have to gain, compared to the prospect of ending up in Fort Marcy Park with two self-inflicted gunshot wounds to the back of the head , being financially ruined or being framed for some sick crime? There are far too many within those organizations who’re on the wrong side, cooperating with the Progressive war machine. In that sense, it is the Soviet Union. Being on either side is dangerous, as is being In the middle. The incentive to go after her would have to be a lot bigger than spite or revenge, and so long as she’s all in with her allegiance to the Dark Side, and she is, and she still has any usefulness, then she’ll be protected.

The most probable scenario in which she’d be taken down is if she and Bill are no longer serving a purpose for the forces of evil. Then they’ll put her down like a sick dog, quietly, in a hospital or some such, making sure she’ll never talk. We’ll never know.

  4. I think the Russians under Tsar Vlad just want to stir the pot and take down the current administration a peg or two.

Yes I agree it is likely the NSA could provide the lost emails, but why? They are more interested in plugging leaks than placing blame. I doubt you’ll find many Trump or Bernie supporters in the alphabet agencies.

I would also agree several other nations probably have bits and pieces of the data stored on that server. China, Israel, France, India and maybe Iran and the UK all actively collect information and if your sloppy with it they don’t feel bad vacuuming it up.

  5. It wouldn’t surprise me if the NSA had copies of her email. They aren’t supposed to according to the law, but we know they don’t pay attention to that.
On the other hand, if the leak came from there, that would worry me a whole lot more than the Russians. We expect our enemies to try to mess with us. We do not expect, and must not tolerate, our own institutions messing with elections. Such an act would absolutely be treason, and would require the swift conviction and hanging of all the perpetrators. And yes, “it could not have happened to a better target” — but that does in no way excuse treason.

  6. I hasn’t been mentioned much, but backup company Datto (I work in IT and we use and sell their products) was supposed to be backing up Hill’s homecooked server. If the NSA doesn’t have all those emails, I am sure if the Datto service was properly operating, they have all those emails too.
