Quote of the day—Shaun King

A ban and complete eradication of assault rifles from the hands of everyday citizens is a reasonable reform.

KING: Dallas, Baton Rouge massacres show need for assault rifle ban, can make trained cops think they’re under attack from small army
[Don’t ever let anyone get away with telling you that no one wants to take your guns.

Banning the most popular type of firearm (I assume he means “assault weapon” rather than “assault rifle”) in the U.S. is “reform”?

Wrong.

It’s called deprivation of rights under color of law and is a felony punishable by death.—Joe]

  1. Note Shaun King is a writer and Gadfly in, ostensible, support of BLM.

    You know the movement that asserts that the police have an institutional problem with race-based abuse and violence against minorities.

    And yet what is he demanding? Why to disarm minorities… because the police wrongly think they’re under attack from an army.

    And nevermind who would enforce the door to door confiscation he’s imagining. One that would give the police /plenty/ of opportunities to commit the abuses he, ostensibly, dislikes.

    • Despite his pretense otherwise, King’s is not one of those Black Lives that Matter,

      • Heh. I see what you did there.

        My brother refers to him as Talcum X.

  2. Oh, were it possible for an experiment to be run whereby those who are calling for such actions to be taken were the only ones subject to them.

    • You are mistaken: “cognitive dissonance” requires thinking. They are not thinking, they are emoting. They are feeling.

    • It is a mistake to interpret their departure from logic as stupidity. The leaders, at least, know exactly what they are doing. The followers are under the control of the leaders, and so they are merely speaking the leaders’ words. There is plenty of intelligence behind it, is the point– A lot more than you might imagine if you think they’re blind stupid.

      You must give credit to the Progressives where credit is due;
      The Party that created, supported and maintained the KKK managed to get and hold on to the vote of 90% of Black Americans, they’ve taken full control of all the big labor unions and turned them into a financial support mechanism for the Democrat Party, taken full control of public education, they own most of the “news” and entertainment media, they’ve reduced the Republican Party to stuttering, impotent, confused little bitches, and so on and on, and managed to keep most of the world in the dark as to their intentions while all we do is complain about them, fall for their distraction tactics over and over, or go on the defensive when they accuse us of doing what they do and being what they are. THEY have US responding to THEM every day.

      Who are the stupid ones again?

      But that’s not to the point at hand. In direct response to your comment;
      The Progressive authoritarian, Eugenicist left is trying extremely hard to get us to hate black people as much as they hate black people, and to some extent I see it is working. They’re also trying to get everyone to hate cops and veterans, and to some extent I see it is working.

      Are they dumb? Their goals (namely the destruction of Judeo/Christian, Western Civilization) are dumb as hell, and their dupes are blind as a fucking bat (hypnotized, actually, which is a bit different from stupid), but they’ve been extremely clever in pursuing those goals and very little so far is slowing them down, much less stopping them, much less turning things around. In fact they seem to be accelerating. You call that dumb? If you do you are mistaken.
