  1. The alternate method of fighting a dispersed threat is to destroy the inspiration to the dispersed threat. In this case, it would be radical Islam’s imams and propagandists.

    Why ISIS has access to the internet when the NSA exists is beyond me.

  2. But the thought of decentralization of power and the ability to respond, i.e., real freedom, is a much greater anathema to statists that the occasional bomber or mass murder. Those latter things are very useful to them in slaking their thirst for power. But dispersed reaction capaability? Pft! *that* is a real problem for them.

    What, you think they are actually looking for solutions? Hardly. They are looking for issues.
