Quote of the day—Brandon Combs

No person that participates in terrorism should be allowed to acquire or possess firearms. And no one that is provably planning to commit a crime or heinous act like the tragedy in Orlando, Florida should be free to walk our streets. Terrorists and violent criminals should be arrested, tried, convicted, and imprisoned — or immediately deported, if they are in the United States by permission.

However, if a person is free enough to walk our streets, they should not be denied fundamental human rights due to their potentially erroneous presence on secret government lists.

Someone who is dangerous enough to be denied access to firearms because of alleged ties to terrorism should be arrested and prosecuted, not simply turned away at the gun store counter. As we’ve seen throughout history, people committed to doing evil will find an alternative means to carrying out a deadly attack.

ALERT: Congress Is Secretly Trying To Steal Your Gun Rights
[I don’t see what’s secret about it. It seems blatant to me. But I agree with the rest of it.—Joe]

  1. Who controls Congress? We could reword it then;

    ALERT: The Republican Party is Trying to Steal Your Gun Rights

    They’re sick and tired of having to lower themselves to pander to “the far right” and so this makes sense. Sooner or later they have to throw off their masks and be who they want to be. May as we’ll get it over with. Trump, the Progressives’ live-action parody of conservatism, is inadvertently helping them through the process.

  2. Corollary: If someone is not trustworthy regarding 2A defensive rights, then they should be in prison or under the auspice of third party care with comparable obligations and responsibilities.

    And this isn’t just about firearms. The issue is who deems the trustworthy part. I certainly don’t trust politicians in this regard.

    I agree with the FPC.

    • Who? A secret panel, the keepers of the secret lists. Remember, everything Hitler did was legal. (or more accurately, done under color of law)

      • Yup, secret lists abound in such progressive countries as the USSR, Nazi Germany, and other hell holes.

        Remember, we interned a slew of people in WW2 because of their heritage. Anyone who can not see how using these lists is a bad idea needs to be reminded that the POS POTUS has weaponized the IRS, EPA, BLM, B(ATF)E, DOJ, and the NSA.

        • Also remember that those US concentration camps were set up at the orders of a progressive — one who turned a run of the mill recession into a decade-long depression by his socialist policies, only to be rescued by the war he helped start.

  3. nail head. if you have evidence enough that someone is a terrorist to the point you deny them their constitutional rights, then you have enough evidence to arrest and indict. People locked up in jail cells are incapable of killing anyone
