This is what anti-gun politicians think of you

Email from Richard Thomson at FirearmsPolicy.org:

Dear Joe,

Because you are a gun owner, a California State Senator called you “crazy, vicious and heartless.”

He blamed you for the terrorist attack in Orlando.

He stated you don’t care about keeping people safe, and you are only more concerned about holding a weapon in your hand.

Because you are a gun owner, he said you have “a dirty, filthy mouth that needs to be washed with soap.”

Well, here’s your chance to tell Senator Hall that you’ll bring the soap.

Well, here’s your chance to tell Senator Hall that you’ll bring the soap.

Yesterday, our lobbyist Craig DeLuz stopped by his office with a bar of soap.

Of course, the Senator did not have time to physically wash out Craig’s mouth.

Now, we need gun owners from across the country to contact Senator Hall and demand that he retract his accusations.

And also tell him that you’ll bring the soap.

Call Sen. Hall’s office and politely let him know what you think of his statement: 916-651-4035

This is what they think of you. Take appropriate action.

  1. Senator Hall is an enemy of American liberty. The question of how it is that we tolerate people holding public office who are diametrically opposed to American principles will go down as one of the Great Puzzlements of history.

Senator Hall is admitting, openly, brazenly, in public, that he’s an enemy of the constitution and of human rights, after taking an oath to uphold those rights. Why is he still walking free? It doesn’t matter that he’s been misled, lied to, and otherwise programmed to hold that position. It doesn’t matter that he most likely doesn’t even believe what he’s saying and is just towing the Party Line, he’s still an admitted, vociferous, apparently proud enemy of the constitution and of the Bill of Rights and seems to have declared war against those who cherish those rights. How else would you define an enemy of the state? Isn’t that a textbook case?

Which is worse; one jihadist who kills 50 people, or a Senator who seeks to disarm millions of people, whole sectors of the free American public, in flagrant violation of the constitution, thereby making such attacks more possible, more likely and more deadly for years to come?

  2. A nasty little man… Ya’ll best get your minds around what’s coming and the bridges we’ll need to cross. These people won’t hesitate to launch any variety of police/security force at you “in the name of public safety”.

  3. I’m “viscous”?

Well, I may be thick, but that’s an insult that might stir me to action!

  4. He’s just like any other Leftist. “Something needs to be done,” they say.

When it comes time to take action, however, they don’t want to be involved.

It turns out that “something” only needs to be done if someone else will be doing it.

    Cowards.

  5. I actually find it far worse that Senator Manchin (yeah, that Manchin), said, “Due process is what’s killing us right now.”

Maybe we could get a discount on multiple stocks, or a two-person stock, instead of buying one at a time. Lock ’em up, and throw rotten fruit at them. Pour encourager les autres.

    • A few months ago there was opposition in the Senate to a bill that would require mens rea — “a guilty mind”, in other words, the intent to commit a crime, in order to find a person guilty of a federal crime.

Chuck Grassley, slimeball senator from Iowa, opposed this on the grounds that it would make it harder to convict people. Well, yes, moron, that’s the whole point. That, and the Constitution. (Oh wait, you’re a politician, so you don’t care about the Constitution. Sorry, I had forgotten.)
