Quote of the day—David Hardy

But don’t grab a weapon, not even pepper spray! “They all sound like a good idea, but again, we don’t know how the burglar will react to seeing an armed person.” No, but we can probably predict how he will react to the impact of 1.25 ounces of 00 buck.

  1. Ah yes; the old “strength equals provocation” argument– Weakness never invites attack, only strength, so let’s be as weak and vulnerable as possible so no one will ever attack us. Further; it’s not fair to be strong. You don’t have the right. It’s inequitable. It demonstrates a lack of “sensitivity”. It’s an affront, and so the strong must be made weak for the sake of justice, fairness and equality.

Thus does their weakness give power to the weak.
It’s an old, old trick, and we’re back to the Fragile Little Flower, who must have his way, otherwise you are a perpetrator of injustice.

  2. It depends upon placement. 1.25 ounces delivered to the throat should be more than adequate. Six or more rounds of 168 grains “attitude adjustment” delivered to fingers and toes may be far from sufficient.

But you are probably correct in that, assuming equivalent placement, your remedy will result in a more certain cure to the improper attitude.
