Quote of the day—Brody Jenner

I’ve had a couple threesomes in my life. And I was like, Okay, let’s try more. One time I did have four girls and just myself, and that was absolutely too much. I was totally out of my league. It was just not that fun. It was a nightmare, actually. It was too much going on. You’re doing, like, a puppet show. You’re trying to take care of too many girls at once and there’s one of you.

Brody Jenner Explains Why Fivesomes Are ‘a Nightmare’
[As if you needed to try it to figure that out. Guys tend to greatly overestimate their sexual capacity.

This is one area where women overshadow men by an order of magnitude or more (see the last quote in that post). I sometimes wonder if this is part of the reason why many cultures repress female sexuality. Could it be men are envious of women and would rather repress women than suffer the envy?—Joe]

  1. A college roommate of mine got involved with two bisexual women, a couple who liked threesomes with men.

After a few dates, he gave up on them because, “All they really wanted was my tongue.”

True story. Make of it what you will.

  2. Well, it’s kind of depressing to go get a drink or hit the bathroom and return to find you weren’t missed and aren’t needed.

    • I never understood the excitement most men have at seeing two (or more) women having sex with each other.

      • My hypothesis is this: If a man see two women getting it on, his Inner Caveman Ug – Keeper of the Hormones thinks to himself “They are obviously 1) horny, and 2) lack for men since if men were available they’d be getting it on with them instead”.

So, Ug looks at his chances and thinks ‘I just have to show up and they’ll be all over me’.

        That’s my theory anyway.

        • But then I grew up rural, and you can buy marker dyes that will tell you if cows are in heat by showing if they are mounting each other.

        • Ug is pretty much right. Lesbians wind up fucking men more than they fuck their girlfriend.

      • Women don’t seem to get off on men going at it together in the absence of women.
I’ve thought about why and a couple of ideas come to mind. One is projection, the idea that “if I were alone with a hot woman, that’s what I would want, therefore it is what they would want to do, too.
The second is based on society’s attitude towards the expression of men’s sexuality. So much of men’s socialization is “don’t”. Don’t hit the other boys, don’t do what you want to do to little Suzy. With women, it’s “you go, girl!” Consequently, when men want to have sex with women they feel they are imposing on them, making them do something they don’t want to do, perhaps dirty, and if women are seen to actually want and perform sex without the urging and persuasion of men, then they really are sexual beings like men and it’s OK to pursue women for sex.

        • There is a pile of gay porn made for women. So women do get off on men doing it to each other.

          • Gay male porn made for women? Or for more feminine men? I can’t imagine women wanting to watch men having sex with other men. (Of course, the porn might be tolerable if the plot is good.)

          • @UBU52, Women have specifically told me they like to watch two or more men together. My guess is that it is something on the order of 5% to 25% of the population. Where as I suspect something more like 90% of men like seeing two or more women together.

@Ted, A few women have told me they have and thought it was “Really hot!”

  3. I wasn’t aware that “yes” was a potential answer to that question, outside of a movie.

  4. Indeed.

Go read Letters From the Earth, by Mark Twain. In particular, read Letter VIII.

Here is the meat of it:

    —–

During twenty-three days in every month (in absence of pregnancy) from the time a woman is seven years old till she dies of old age, she is ready for action, and competent. As competent as the candlestick is to receive the candle. Competent every day, competent every night. Also she wants that candle — yearns for it, longs for it, hankers after it, as commanded by the law of God in her heart.

But man is only briefly competent; and only then in the moderate measure applicable to the word in his sex’s case. He is competent from the age of sixteen or seventeen thence-forward for thirty-five years. After fifty his performance is of poor quality, the intervals between are wide, and its satisfactions of no great value to either party; whereas his great-grandmother is as good as new. There is nothing the matter with her plant. Her candlestick is as firm as ever, whereas his candle is increasingly softened and weakened by the weather of age, as the years go by, until at last it can no longer stand, and is mournfully laid to rest in the hope of a blessed resurrection which is never to come.

By the woman’s make, her plant has to be out of service three days in the month, and during a part of her pregnancy. These are times of discomfort, often of suffering. For fair and just compensation she has the high privilege of unlimited adultery all the other days of her life.

That is the law of God, as revealed in her make. What becomes of this high privilege? Does she live in free enjoyment of it? No. Nowhere in the whole world. She is robbed of it everywhere. Who does this? Man. Man’s statutes — if the Bible is the Word of God.

Now there you have a sample of man’s “reasoning powers,” as he calls them. He observes certain facts. For instance, that in all his life he never sees the day that he can satisfy one woman; also, that no woman ever sees the day that she can’t overwork, and defeat, and put out of commission any ten masculine plants that can be put to bed to her. He puts those strikingly suggestive and luminous facts together, and from them draws this astonishing conclusion: The Creator intended the woman to be restricted to one man.

So he concretes that singular conclusion into law, for good and all.

    • To paraphrase Jack Sparrow in the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie, “Welcome to the Matriarchy, love.”
I think the Patriarchy was invented six thousand years a go by a woman who thought that if she could get one man to work for her and her children it was better than trying to get the attention of the tribal chief for sex and raising her children by herself while all the men were murdering each other trying to be the next chief.

      • It is obvious that patriarchy is better for women. But equally obvious that patriarchy is something forcefully imposed on women by men by the rod. If allowed, they will all fuck the chief.

  5. The ancient Greeks believed that women enjoyed sex more than men. The mythical blind seer Tiresias, who spent seven years as a woman, is “quoted” as saying women enjoyed sex nine times more than men did.

The Muslim religion/culture seems to agree, as so much effort is put into controlling women’s sexuality. Christians and Jews, less so, but with 2000 and 4000 years of history there are many different possibilities for comparison (For today’s Leftists the situation is reversed).
