Quote of the day—Bruce Schneier

It’s one thing to have dissatisfied customers. It’s another to have dissatisfied customers with death squads.

[If your business model involves customers who enforce their contracts without respect for the legal system I would seriously question the long term viability of your business. There are probably better long term career prospects. I would like to suggest shoveling fresh manure as a better option.—Joe]

  1. Good. With some luck, these people will meet the end they deserve. Unfortunately their customers deserve the same, but are unlikely to get it.

  2. Hmmm. “without respect for the legal system” Oh, you mean the US federal government.

    • I mean they don’t take their disputes to a court of law and get it settled via an impartial judge and/or jury. Instead they send violent thugs to “settle” things.

The legal system could be any court in any political and/or religious social order.

  3. Except now what used to be our “legal system” is made up of nothing more than a bunch of bought-and-paid-for thugs for the most part.
