Manifesto of Freedom Needed
[I don’t think that word means what you think it means John. Both laws against abortion and “the right to be free from the abomination of same-sex marriage” would appear to require the use of the force of government. That’s not “freedom”.

All times are trying.
What is a traditionalist? One who adheres to tradition? What tradition? Who’s tradition? Is not tradition a substitute to perception and intuition, something you fall back on when you have nothing else?
I believe that a manifesto of freedom (if we’re going to call it a manifesto) was developed already. No one need reinvent the wheel, so to speak.

The right to life is right there in the Declaration of Independence, along with RKBA, so OK. When I hear someone expressing the desire to be free from something though, the red flags go up. Isn’t it enough to want freedom, period? We start talking about being free from something it reminds me of the Progressives’ “freedom from want”, and all that foolish nonsense, which is actually anti-freedom.
If one desires to be “free from” same-sex marriage, then all one need do in that regard is not participate in it. If and when people are being forced to participate in it, then freedom is being denied.
After decades of hearing an often cacophonous noise from the left about how religion needs to be expunged from any and all things government-related, I find it more than a little ironic that the religious institution of marriage is, for certain homosexuals at least, not only welcome in government, it is demanded that government be as involved as possible.
It’s actually not ironic of course. I only bring up to highlight the hypocrisy. It is in fact consistent, for the left clearly has the agenda of degrading and disrupting the Western Judeo/Christian world. I point it out because, as even many on the left fail to realize, “gay marriage” really has nothing to do with anything they think, but is merely the latest distraction, and rallying point, to focus ire against that which was previously known as The Free World. Once the Progressive movement is finished with homosexuals, they will be dropped like a not potato.
Never mind that gays are being killed elsewhere in the world. If someone in American refuses to provide flowers for a gay wedding, THAT is the injustice. But I’m not buying it for a second. Don’t tell me you give a snit about homosexuals when you’re all up in our faces about weddings in Europe and America and don’t talk about the real persecution and actual killing of homosexuals elsewhere. Same goes for the so-called “feminists”. I see what you’re doing there.
If no one else remembers it, at least I do remember that the KKK were, and are, all Democrats.
Protecting an unborn baby’s right to life is no different than protecting the right to life of a retard or cripple who can’t pick up a gun to defend themself.
That’s a rational position. But it is difficult to categorize it as “freedom” in the same context as gun rights. The other side can even make a claim of “freedom to choose” and further muddy the contextual waters.
