Six dead in Pennsylvania shootings. What will it take for the U.S. to ban guns? Another avoidable tragedy. #Sickening http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-30484534 …

  1. Well over a hundred million dead killed off, directly and indirectly, by their own nations’ communist governments; how many more must die before we outlaw socialism in all its forms?

  2. Let’s answer the question, shall we? What will it take for the U.S. to ban guns? Answer; stupidity, ignorance and amorality, combined with complacency, in the face of evil intent. It will take disregard for facts, history, current events and disregard for human rights and human life. It will take a progressive, generations-long campaign of lies, misinformation and intellectual and moral degradation to soften up the American public, disconnecting them from reason and conscience in preparation for such a thing, and of course it will take the willful violation of the Bill of Rights and the American founding principles the whole time. Does that about cover it, or have I missed something?

    • But Yorkie asked the wrong question of course (a disjointed mind will ask the wrong questions, and invariably come up with the wrong answers). The proper question regarding this subject is; What will it take for Americans to understand AND uphold the principles of liberty, which include the fact that government has no jurisdiction over the keeping and bearing (and by extension the manufacture, distribution and sales) of private arms and ammunition?

Or, more generally; What will it take to secure human rights, to get government to stop violating them under color of law?

  3. 50,000 die in car/trunk crashes countless more injured, what will it take to ban cars/trucks ? No more stupid than Yorkie’s statement
