Quote of the day—thambi

I have better things to do with my time than listen to stupid, uneducated rednecks.

Comment to A lobbyist resurfaces: The NRA mulls strategies to undermine I-594
[This was in a response to a suggestion they attend a rally against I-594 in Olympia.

This is what they are willing to say about you in public. What they actually think of you is almost for certain more than enough to justify maintaining a firm grip on our specific enumerated right to keep and bear arms and regular training.—Joe]

      • I can only imagine what “Thambi” would have said in 1898 if the headline had been, “A lobbyist resurfaces; NAACP mulls strategies to undermine Plessey v Ferguson.

  1. When people say that, I point out that my IQ is 154, and I have 4 college degrees. Then I ask, “What about you?”

  2. who gives a shit what thambi says? he’s, … , well, to put it bluntly, … , just a target, and he’d do well to remember that.

p.s. i really don’t care what they think of me. they had just better understand that if they attempt to disarm me, they had best do it very carefully. and, of course, “thambi” is not the sort of “nippledick” to try and do it personally. he’ll have his “employees” take care of it for him, … , a much more tidy endeavor.

I think it a near certainty that *you* don’t actually mean that. But *I* think it expresses a fundamental truth. It may come down to the criteria one uses to determine who “needs” to be shot. Or to the hypothetical criteria one projects upon another.
