Yet another trailer is out for the last in the Atlas Shrugged series.
As is the case for many others I’m disappointed they again changed the cast. And the main characters are played by people too young for the parts.
I’m still going to watch it. September 12, 2014.

Yes; those are the unfortunate limitations of making a movie on a modest budget, and in parts some years apart. Still, if the story is good, it doesn’t matter as much who the actors are or what they look like.
One of the charms of watching foreign movies is that, much of the time, none of the actors are at all familiar. As my wife puts it, that way you can watch the story, instead of watching, say, Matt Damon or George Clooney, playing himself.
Paul’s correct in many respects … John (my producing partner) and I aspired to get the message accessible and “right” in this last of the Atlas Shrugged trilogy. It wasn’t so much “another chance” as the series would have been a little better from a continuity standpoint.
The book is awesome. The movies have been good. Getting the message out is important and I am very happy you have accomplished so much. Thank you.
If you don’t have the money to make all three at once, or put the cast under long term contract, you can’t guarantee having the same people. In a way it’s good. That way the movie doesn’t become star driven, it becomes script driven. I’m just happy that my favorite book has been made into a movie and that the producers are trying to stay true to Ayn Rand. Hopefully the “doesn’t read” generations will see it and learn.
I was going to ask about buying discs of the movies, but figured the answer is on your website. Well, sort of. I see a Blueray of part 2, and the description suggests there is one for part 1 as well but none is actually shown for sale.
I’ll be looking for all three parts, in Blueray.

IIS, eh? You may want to find a hosting service that uses Apache. That’s likely to cure all those problems.
It is the same 503 error that plagues us. It just happened at just the right time to deliver the IIS error.
I have a lot of stuff using asp.net so Apache isn’t a good fit for me.
But maybe the screen capture would be useful. I have pretty much just rolled my eyes and moved on when I got them. Would you email it to me? blog@joehuffman.org.
