Quote of the day—John R. Lott Jr.

Bloomberg’s studies show one thing: a consistent willingness to do whatever is necessary, even make up data, to get the desired results. Disappointingly, the news media keeps giving Bloomberg funded research massive uncritical coverage.

  1. The media do that because Bloomberg’s agenda is theirs, too.
The difference between today’s media and those of 200 years ago is that the modern ones pretend to be impartial, while the old ones were honest about their leanings.
The most recent outrage in Oregon was stopped by armed school “resource officers”. But none of the coverage I’ve read in the WSJ or seen on local TV has mentioned that at all. It could be that they forgot to mention it. But I suspect that it’s been deliberately edited out of the narrative because it supports the thesis that armed people able to respond to homicidal maniacs are the way to keep the damage way down.

Exactly. Getting you surprised, shocked and upset is part of the demoralization process designed to wear you down. If it works as designed, you end up defeating yourself. It’s not altogether unlike the concept of the “low yeild, high radiation” bomb, or “neutron bomb”. You die off, sometimes even slowly, but you die surely, and the enemy moves right in to take your place.

It is considered perfectly moral, honorable, and even laudable, to lie to, cheat, steal from, or even kill, infidels. It is taught, even.

We are infidels to the religion that worships the authoritarian state, and as such we are inhuman trash. The Japanese treated the Chinese the same way, as did the Germans to Jews, etc. This sort of attitude and behavior has been on Earth since the beginning of recorded history and it isn’t going away. We must be careful that we don’t ever end up mimicking it.

    • That you think the linked piece of hatred is persuasive says many sad things about you.
