Quote of the day—Sarah Brady

The House passage of our bill is a victory for this country! Common sense wins out. I’m just so thrilled and excited. The sale of guns must stop. Halfway measures are not enough.

[The Brady Campaign has been using the phrase “common sense” for a long time. It’s good of her to confirm what we all suspected they meant by that.—Joe]

  2. I was about to ask ‘Hey, wtf, where did THIS come from’ then I noticed the date.

*evil chuckle* Oh, what a difference 25 years makes.

  3. So “Common Sense” Gun Control has been around since ’88?

Funny. I thought OBAMA came up with it.

But since Marxism is nothing but Theft under a different label, I should be surprised that The Anointed One stole it for his own usage…

    • Oh, he didn’t have to steal it. They’re birds of a feather, after all.

Much like ‘for the children’, when someone invokes ‘common sense laws’ I get suspicious. Because common sense is decidedly UNcommon these days.

  5. That quote of hers should be enough, all of itself, to get her banned from public service for life.

  6. When a politician or pundit uses the terms ‘reasonable’ ‘necessary’ or ‘commonsense’, I break out in a rash.

    Stay safe
