Quote of the day—Barack Obama

As long as there are those who fight to make it as easy as possible for dangerous people to get their hands on guns, then we’ve got to work as hard as possible for the sake of our children … to do more work to make it harder.

Citing shootings, Obama says must ‘go back at’ gun-control push
[One of the criminals that supposedly prompted this renewed push to make the exercise of a specific enumerated right more difficult via enhanced background checked had a military security clearance. How much more thorough of a background check does this guy think one should have before they can exercise their rights?

The only conclusions I can come up with are that he, and others like him who advocate for more rigorous background checks in response to the Washington Navy Yard shooting, are either totally irrational and/or evil. Regardless of the conclusion there is no point in “conversation”, “compromise”, or “debate” with people who are insane and/or evil. There is nothing to be gained from talking with crazy and/or evil people. I’ve been there and done that. It will only drive you crazy. Your only option is to get them out of your lives.—Joe]

  1. And I love how we aren’t people who are defending our rights, but people who are fighting to keep guns in the hands of criminals.

  2. They know exactly what the source of carnage is in Dem run cities, yet keep their gobs shut. They send arms to Al Queda to overthrow a tyrannical .gov, yet seek to keep them from us…for the same reason. While the insane and stupid walk among them (Shurrif Joe and Nazi Pelosi), more and more I’m leaning toward the evil POV.

  4. I fight to keep the right to bear arms today because tomorrow it will be the right to be secure in my home without fear of government interference.

  5. “How much more thorough of a background check does this guy think one should have before they can exercise their rights?”

    Long answer: If one can pass his background check, then it wasn’t thorough enough. If a “middle-class American” can afford the fee for the background check, then it’s not high enough. If ammunition, magazines, holsters, slings, gun parts, safes, and other miscellaneous “firearms accessories” can be purchased without a background check, then the background check law doesn’t cover enough. If someone with “mental health issues” – up to and including, but not limited to, wanting to purchase a firearm – is not included in the NICS “deny” list, then the “mental health” law isn’t broad enough. If a background-checked, trained, and licensed (but non-police) individual can carry – at all – then the carry laws aren’t strict enough. If a firearm can be reached and made ready in time to defend a person/property from a violent assault, then the storage laws aren’t “common-sense” enough.

    Short answer: If any Americans can still exercise their Second Amendment rights – which as you know, shall not be infringed – then it’s not a big enough infringement.

  6. It’s a war against Western civilization. The question is; will enough people realize it soon enough? Maybe it’s already too late.

    If these quotes didn’t raise the alarm;
    “Fundamental transformation of America” – B. Obama
    “Put an end to the bluster (of America being successful)” – B. Obama
    “When you spread the wealth around, everyone benefits” – B. Obama
    “Redistributive change” – B, Obama
    “We need to change our history” – M. Obama

    (and several others equally indicative of an America-hating communist) then what will?

    Yuri Bezmenov said it takes a military boot on the ass to get the point across (to idealogocal Marxists that their imagined glorious utopia of equality is nothing but a sham designed to sucker them into going along long enough for the planners to sweep in and kill off their most useful idiots) but of course by then it’s already a done deal. He saw it happen in several countries.
