Sorry, the situation in CA doesn’t qualify as a “slippery slope”, it qualifies as Free Fall.
The Second Amendment is almost completely usurped in CA, and it will soon be finished off.
2A supporters there wasted too much credibility trying to push Open Carry, when they should have been devoting more energy to finding/electing the Sheriffs who supported the 2A. They’re doing this now, but it’s likely too little, too late.
I’ve got to agree with Rivrdog. I wasn’t much interested in California gun law until I heard about open carry. That was enough to bring out the gun controllers and the pro-2A types.
