Their standard operation procedure is to crush dissenting opinion any time they start losing an argument. Having better arguments would seem to equate to brutish behavior for many of them.

Where Are the Haters?
[The only minor correction I would have would be to replace the last sentence with “They regard better arguments as brutish behavior.” The qualifiers are not needed. I have not debated with a single one of them that did not regard disagreement, backed up facts and court cases, as being “mean spirited”, “threatening”, hateful, or “angry”. The most gentle wording that I could come up with has been threatened with deletion or just never allowed to appear in the comments of some peoples blog posts.

Since the Antis “Reasoned Discourse” quickly dissolves in an Emotional Rant, I’ve stopped trying to argue with them. They all seem to be unable to actually process the Facts in a Rational, Logical Manner. They seem to go into “Fight or Flight” and soon as their Mindset comes under attack.
I’d Pity them, except that they would, deep in their Hearts, would have no problems sending us to the Gulag.

Of course. What else would YOU do with determined, unrepentant, zealous enemies of the state? Convert ’em or kill ’em? Convert ’em or lock ’em up? What are your choices? Force them to quit or let them run you over.
They apparently consider Reality to be a hateful, evil thing.
I just consider it to be what I have to work with.

That’s an old story. It came to a head in one account a little over 2000 years ago, when some dude preaching love was denounced by the scribes and murdered by the state while everyone else, including his best friends, stood by and did nothing.
