Quote of the day—Kurt Hofmann

If the Obama regime wants to “buy” our guns, it had better be prepared to pay in blood.

NIJ memo shows new gun laws can only ‘work’ with registration, confiscation
[H/T to David Hardy.

The memo referred to, and marked up by, presumably, the NRA is extremely revealing. It is mandatory reading for insight into the Obama administration. They know the laws they propose are and will be ineffective. They aren’t stupid. They aren’t ignorant. They are evil.

Update: This NRA video should have been part of the original post:

  1. And they are Stupid. You know, this Regime keeps getting all their Memos and Studies and Reports leaked out, yet they act as if it is No Big Deal. So, why are they acting like this? I don’t have an answer, but here’s some ideas to think about.

They are so Arrogant, they think that it doesn’t matter, because the Peasants won’t Revolt against their New World Order. Think of Mein Kampf.

It’s all Disinformation designed to induce Fear and Panic, which hides their REAL Agenda (whatever that might be). Think of the KGB.

They REALLY have a Sick Sense of Humor, and they think it’s Fun to mess with the Clingers. Think of Saturday Night Live.

They are sending out “Feelers”, seeing what might “Stick to the Wall.” Think PsyOps.

They really have a Lousy grasp of OpSec, and they don’t realize just how many in the Government do NOT want the RKBA to be Destroyed. Think of Resistance Cells.

Like I said, I don’t know, but if all this Data is True, then I’m glad we are getting it.

    Know Thy Enemy.

  2. Whatever it takes to keep you off balance, thinking of them, works to your disadvantage. Remember junior high school? One shithead in a class can completely derail and distract the whole process. That’s a community organizer.

I note that in the memo, suddenly they get the terminology right. No “magazine gun clips” or other such gibberish, and ammunition is ammunition, rather than “bullets”. They even know “caliber” and “gauge” and that “handgun ammunition” is a nebulous term.

If the media types had the slightest inclination to get it right, they would. Putting up slobbering retards as anchors and commentators is just part of the process, you see.

    • In other words, you are saying they seem to be inside our OODA loop. WE are on the defensive, reacting to THEIR actions, rather than the other way around. Not good. We need to be proposing more bills.

  3. If you would like to read a longer from of the NIJ thing I would recommend the paper that concludes with this.
    CONCLUSION
Without a commitment to or capacity for eliminating the existing inventory of private guns, the supply-side ideal and regulations based on it cannot be taken seriously. It is best to acknowledge the blocking power of the remainder and adjust our gun control regulations and goals to that reality. Policymakers who continue to press legislation grounded on the supply-side ideal while disclaiming the goal of prohibition are deluded or pandering.

  4. @BubbleheadLes (from a former bubblehead myself, nuke end of the boat aft of frame :classified:): It could also be the Penn & Teller model of disinformation….put out something that’s guaranteed to get both sides’ hackles up, and people screaming at each other, all whilst the other hand is quietly switching your regular brew to Folgers without your knowledge or consent. Always keep an eye open to see what else they’re trying to quietly slip through the cracks during a heated argument.

  6. If they come to bargain for our goods at Helm’s gate, they will pay a high price.
