That is an excellent quote, and a good article.
The left understands this self censorship phenomenon, and they have used the same exact argument regarding AIDS and other issues. They know exactly, and in detail, how it works, but of course they’ll take the opposite position when ever it suits the Progressive cause.
AIDS, birth control and drug rehab are the most obvious examples of the left warning us about the horrible dangers of possible self restriction.

The intolerance of the professionally “tolerant” is the water in which the “Progressive” fish swim in (They do other stuff in it, too, but we won’t go there this time).
