Democracy Dies a Lot

There was a lot more to this vid.  It went on and on, but here’s the gist of it;

“Democracy is dead” every time the communists/parasites lose an election.  This has been going on for years.  Using their reasoning, which says for example that the people can’t be trusted with education and so the government must do it, the people can’t be trusted with guns and so the government must own them all, et., etc., they’ll eventually decide that the people can’t be trusted to vote and so the government must decide everything instead.  Then democracy will be alive again.  See how that works?

The sad thing is that I might have been (no; was) that pathetic fool when I was about that age (having just been freed from the public education gulag and still listening to Pacifica News on Public Radio).  So in a way I do feel for the lad.  Lucky for me there was no internet when I was that age.  It wrenches my gut to think about that– what if there had been?

  1. Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
    The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
    The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
    The best lack all conviction, while the worst
    Are full of passionate intensity.

    He looks pretty full of both passionate intensity and himself, to me.

  2. Yes, and at the same time he’s a victim of deepest set of lies in the modern world.

  3. I always have big crocodile tears when I hear a politician complaining “We lost because we were outspent 7-to-1!”…because people *never* vote based on the message, right? Of course, these are the same people who are proud that Barak Obama spent so much to become President, and hope that he’ll raise $1Billion so that he can be re-elected. Being outspent is only bad when you’re the one who loses.

    Never mind that sometimes a politician will win, even when he is out-spent 20-to-1. This happens when the person who is doing the spending has a terrible message, and the one who wins has a message that resonates with the people who vote.

    Oh, and never mind that Governor Walker not only out-spent his opponent 7-to-1, but he decreased the jobless rate of Wisconsin, cut out waste and artificial demand in education, and balanced the budget! And never mind that he had the money to spend, because individuals donated it to him, while unions didn’t have the money to spend, because the unions could no longer “democratically” take their dues straight out of union-member paychecks! Clearly, Governor Walker is doing a lousy job, and the Unions clearly have the popular support, and only lost because Governor Walker out-spent them 7-to-1.

    If only Governor Walker hadn’t bribed the unicorns and fairies to stay home that day. Not only would he have lost otherwise, but it would have been raining skittles and happiness, and everyone would have solar panel shingles in time for the Wisconsin winter! But alas, Governor Walker out-spent them, and he’s going to continue his evil ways, and continue to balance that State budget! Oh, the horror!

    In any case, Lyle hit it on the head: when something advances the cause of Communism, it’s “Democracy in Action”; when it

  4. ; when it pushes Communism backwards, it’s “Democracy has failed! Time to install the dictatorship!”

    (sorry I didn’t catch the incomplete comment sooner…)
