Quote of the day—State Senator Leland Yee

It is extremely important that individuals in the state of California do not own assault weapons. I mean that is just so crystal clear, there is no debate, no discussion.

CBS 5 Story Inspires New Legislation To Ban ‘Bullet Button’
[Let me fix that for you Senator Yee. What you really meant to say is, “It is extremely important that individuals in the state of California have no debate, no discussion. Just so it is crystal clear I respect neither the 1st nor 2nd Amendments.”—Joe]

  1. It is extremely important that California State Senator bigoted jerk Leland Yee be proverbially smacked like you do a dog on the nose to remind him of where the power of his office derives from.

  2. I agree with Yee. It is an extremely important fact that Californians own so few good weapons. It is something that must be remedied. He is totally wrong in his assertion that there is no debate or discussion though. He obviously hasn’t been paying any attention or he would have noticed it. What a blithering idiot. I do also agree with him here though;

    “It’s never going to be easy, but by the end of the day we are here in Sacramento to protect the general public and I think that is my priority”

    Yes; they are there in Sacramento to protect the general public– against govertnment over-reach, against violations of rights, and it never is going to be easy. The problem is that blithering idiots like Yee have it all backwards.

    It’s kind of funny. When I first heard that some Californians wanted to “ban the bullet button” I thought they were talking about banning the requirement for a bullet button, i.e. they wanted to partially restore some of the right to keep and bear arms. Since we’re talking about CA, I should have known better. People have been fleeing that state for decades. I suppose that by now they’re left mostly with the power-hungry, the freeloaders who vote for them, the hard core communists, and the criminals who benefit from all of the former.

  3. Leland Yee is a standard collectivist. I remember when he tried to introduce state legislature to ban violent video games with the additional power to define what is ‘violent’ in the first place… all for the children, of course. The law’s wording was so vague it would have basically banned all modern media in CA.

    There’s too much to say about him, but ‘collectivist’ sums it all up into one nice word.

  4. Remember, he has a Ph.D. so he is so much smarter than the rest of us…ahem. Well, when I called his office, I told his staffer that he was ignorant of the facts and that those “evil black rifles” are almost never used in crimes and mass shootings (the supposed cause for his hysteria to offer this legislation). Where is the blood in the streets because of the heinous bullet button?

    Also mock-worthy is that he used the fake term “assault weapon” and also “crystal clear” in his statement. I defy him to define an “assault weapon” in “crystal clear” terms that have any practical meaning. It is a bogus semantic trick; verbiage designed to elicit an emotional response. Please get him some fresh panties, he needs them.
