The gist is that Lindsey Piscitell and her friends had “a happy accident” when they spilled wine on the wife of Glenn Beck (Piscitell described him as “Fucking asshole”). One friend, Marissa Barker, upon hearing Beck and his family were in the park with Piscitell Tweeted:
Ew, can you “accidentlly” spill something on him? Or “accidentlly” kick him in the mouth?
We should not be surprised at this. It’s what liberals do.
Liberalism, in the modern usage of the word, is an attack on human rights and therefore it is in itself violence. It grows government power (brute force against those who have not initiated force) at the expense of liberty and by extension at the expense of life. Those predisposed to the ideology are therefore predisposed to violence, whether or not they themselves engage in the violent acts they perpetrate. QED.
Be scared. Be very, very scared. When all the Liberals get guns, it will be a much more violent world. At that point, Conservatives will start screaming for gun control.

It was because of the communists that Germany first implemented gun registration. So what ubu52 says has some historical precedence.

It depends. I can easily see the National Review types supporting gun control–they have in the past, I believe. However, you have to consider that one in every three Americans is a gun owner, and that most of those trend right politically. If the conservative establishment were to endorse gun control, the GOP would lose a huge chunk of its base and would cease to exist as a real political party. At that point, we’d either see a new party that would be more anti-gun control than the GOP is now, or we’d see the establishment of a totalitarian state by the Democrats.
I don’t worry about liberals with guns; most don’t have the knowledge, experience, or guts. Their way of handling things is to get a crooked congressman to pass a law and let the local police do their dirty work for them.

@ ubu; The bad guys (the looters) always have guns, either directly or via their organizations. All we’re talking about with regard to gun restriction is whether the good guys (the producers) will be armed also.

Leftists are generally cowards anyway. They hide in mobs, or hide behind their pet fire breathing dragon (government). If they believed in the power individual action, they wouldn’t be leftists, would they?
@ Joe: In Europe it was (is) about Communism verses Progressivism. That was (is) their “left vs. right” political spectrum. Fascism and Nazism were variations of what we know today as the Progressive movement.
