My hope is that the recent hearing will further expose the ATF’s and Attorney General Eric Holder’s assaults on law-abiding gun owners, and more people will start questioning the need for unconstitutional agencies like the ATF that exist solely to infringe on American citizens’ God-given right to keep and bear arms.

[This is a little weak. The words “right to keep and bear arms” should be replaced with “rights”.

Speaking purely out of intellectual curiosity; just what type of “tar”, what specific product, would a person look for today if that person were interested in an authentic, old-fashioned tarring and feathering? Just how was this done, procedurally, back in the day? I long to understand more about our country’s history, you understand.
I’d have to do more research on the product and availability but some history is here.
