Nice stuff but when the government takes everything you have and gives it to the parasites you end up living the life of a slave and any improvements you make in your inner self are of little immediate value.
I would prefer to retire in Galt’s Gulch and let the system collapse but as Roberta X has pointed out, ‘We’re a bit short of Galts and Gulches an’ Midas Mulligan’s been in a Federal pen for a good long while now, accused of “redlining.”’
Hi Joe, Thanks for the post! I believe Galt’s Gulch is an idea. The “brain trust” of my group tries to think and live, like we’re in the gulch. And of course, we’re working towards building an actual gulch. Cheers.
Well, the Commies seem to be pushing this stupid Idea of “The New Soviet Man” down the World’s Throats for a 150 years, so maybe it’s time to do some pushing back with some “John Gault”.
Why not several Galts and Several Gulches? Distribute the gulches– it’s just so hard these days to hide in a valley behind a ray screen.

That’s my plan, although I will call it another name. Perhaps I’ll put you on the invite list if you agree to run a Boomershoot there at least twice a year.
@Patriot Henry, If invited, I would put on as many Boomershoots as the paying participants supported and the neighbors tolerated.
