Quote of the day—Ken

As a former peace marcher, head shop owner, member of the Brady Campaign, and gun store protester, I see no reason why we shouldn’t have constitutional carry in all 50 states, eliminate the National Firearms Act, Gun Control Act, and Brady Bill, overrule all state gun laws as violations of the 2nd Amendment, and make Samuel Colt’s birthday a national holiday.

  1. HA! I love how the antis have acknowledged that it’s Constitutional carry. They need to capitalize that, though.

  2. The quote oozes sarcasm, but I know hippies that *actually* hold those beliefs (i.e. guns are not bad, they like to shoot and carry, they want LESS government, not more, etc.) They’re all ones that bailed from the San Francisco Hippie Mecca in the late 60’s and early 70’s and headed north to the sticks (aka the Emerald Triangle). They’d rather live off the land than live off the dole. They may not be the majority of their kind, but they do exist and I’m acquainted with more than a few.

As for the rest of them, I like to remind them that they can have their dope and hash just as soon as I can have my full rock-n-roll Ma Deuce and a 1919A4 mounted on the Jeep for grocery runs. 🙂
