He must be using a multiple firing word processor

Sometimes I would almost agree there should be common sense limits, including background checks and licensing, on the First Amendment. This is one the reasons:

For an American, that means the person working beside you or sitting beside you on the bus or at the bar or the stadium or the movies or in class, or in the same traffic jam ready to explode with road rage, could well be carrying one of those formidable multiple-firing Glocks, the kind Mr. Loughner wielded.

But this guy is from Canada where censorship is already part of the political landscape. Maybe they should implement mandatory training and testing on a topic by topic basis for all journalists. The number of distortions and amount of ignorance and bigotry this guy spews is truly impressive.

  1. For an American, that means the person working beside you nope- usually company policy to ban them or sitting beside you on the bus not sure in Texas or at the bar or the stadium Nope they sell alcohol or the movies or in class Nope- schools have a magic de-armament spell on them, or in the same traffic jam ready to explode with road rage I guess you shouldn’t rear-end him while you’re texting, huh?, could well be carrying one of those formidable multiple-firing Glocks, the kind Mr. Loughner wielded. or any OTHER kind of pistol that holds more than ONE round.

    Dumb@ss.

  2. ‘Mr. Loughner’?
I recognize in this country, the accused are presupposed to be innocent, before proven guilty.
BUT, when something is this obvious, this blatant, this evident, I think I’d defer to speaking
of ‘the suspect’, or the ‘arrestee’.
Much the same is done with Mr. Ahmadinejad, Mr. Pol Pot, Mr. Stalin, Mr. Mao tse Tung.
None of these clowns deserve a ‘Mr.’

  3. Joe! Did you know??!!! On the Internet, ANY idiot can own this thing called an EMAIL CLIENT, and, if he connects it to a device called a SERVER, which is equipped with a VERY COMMON program (called a protocol) known mostly by its acronym, SMTP, he can — with a mere, single keystroke — send hundreds, even thousands or even millions, of email messages AT ONCE! In fact, this practice is so common that estimates hold that up to 99% of Internet traffic is made up of this … SPAM. !!!ONE!!1! And the worst part — there’s no attempt whatsoever to limit people’s use of this device or license the users! Write your congressman!

  4. You know, most rural living Canadians “get it”, the problem is, there are a lot of gun fearing weenies in Toronto Canada, unfortunately, “The Globe and Mail” is one of those big Liberal media machines based in Toronto… Most of us rural Canadians have no use for those living in cities like Toronto…
