That is the way I see it too. I’m a probably reminded of this far more frequently than most because there is golf course close enough to my hidden underground bunker that I could land spit wads into it if I went topside.—Joe]
Maybe, but a golf bag is a heck of a place to stash a rifle inconspicuously!
They even give the distance at the tee. Just need to ad a berm…
Yeah, but until shooters are willing to pungle up money in 3 figures for a single visit to a rifle range, not many golf courses will become rifle ranges….

I suspect a golf course cost a lot more to construct and maintain than a rifle range. Still, you have a valid point because the larger profit margin probably still goes to the golf course.
I always thought golf could be improved if instead of “Fore!”, the golfer yelled “Pull!”.

I’d really rather grab a box of 100 shells from wally world and a box of clays than chase around a little white ball. And I grew up working on golf courses.
A Mossberg 500, 500 shells, a bunch of clays, and a decent thrower still come in for less $ than golf clubs and greens fees.
Oh, Sir! Please don’t get me started on this one!
Yah, you have already done so. I have the misfortune to exist in a county in Southern Florida which has something like 200 golf curses in it and maybe half of a shooting range. Used to be, in Scotland, the golf curses were reserved from time to time for the toxophiles to play rounders with their bows and arrows. What a shame we can’t do that today with rifles!
