Quote of the day—Don Henley

A man with a briefcase can steal millions more than any man with a gun.

Don Henley
[True. And what is perplexing is that no one is advocating restrictions on people carrying briefcases.—Joe]

  1. You say that like it’s a bad thing.

“Just like a good airline pilot should always be looking for places to land, so should a lawyer always be looking for situations were large amounts of money were about to change hands.”

  2. alphamike,

As a lawyer you would see things a little bit differently, wouldn’t you?

  3. Money is an instrumentality of Capitalism. Property is theft. Therefore theft is Revolutionary Praxis and is to be applauded. Life belongs to the People and can only be taken by the Will of the People. Big difference. Duh.

  4. Also a guy with:
    -A P.O. Box
    -A Web Site
    -A nigerian email address…

Actually is there anything besides an alert mind AND a gun which can prevent theft?

Ban everything that could possibly harm anyone and make everything else mandatory…
