Quote of the day—Beverly Ackerman

So that’s my response to the Dawson killings: No more guns. It’s as simple as that. Because no one can accurately predict who among us will become unhinged enough to explode in bloody slaughter, I believe that guns should be unavailable to the public.

The solution is simple: Canada needs MORE gun controls
[Using the same logic we can also demand guns be unavailable to the government. And of course pointy sticks and rocks should be unavailable to all as well. After all, no matter how much ammo you can carry you still run out of ammo eventually. But your pointy stick and rock never need to be reloaded. Think of them as infinite capacity assault weapons and you’ll understand just how dangerous they really are.—Joe]

  1. Applying that same logic:

Children shouldn’t be available to mothers since we don’t know who will become unhinged enough to drown their children, right?

Cars shouldn’t be available to people since we don’t know who will become unhinged enough to plow down a group of people or some homeless guys sleeping in a bus stop.

Or knives because someone could attack a school full of children.

Maybe we should ban free speech since we never know who will become unhinged enough to write garbage like that?

  2. Shockingly she doesn’t allow comments. You’d think one of the things a “freelance writer” would want is feedback on her work right? Guess not!

  3. Heh, Because Kimveer Gil totally respected the laws against carrying arms, gun-free school zones, and well, the whole assault and murder thing. If anything people should see that Gil didn’t mind registering his guns and following all the permitting laws should point out what fools they are.

They mad this weepy looser into a GOD with their gun control laws. He was unopposed and unmolested until the campus cops showed up (With their own guns)

  4. If her daughter had a gun, she may not be dead.

Blaming the state for not protecting her child?
Blaming the school for not protecting her child?
Blaming the police for not protecting her child?
Blaming herself for not protecting her child?

    The murder was tragic.
The murder was already illegal. Would another policy/rule/law make it “double illegal”?

There are bad people in this world. No denying it.
How about wanting to live so strongly, that you take some responsibility to protect yourself?

  5. So that’s my response to fat leftists: No more unhealthy food. It’s as simple as that. Because no one can accurately predict who among them will become ravenous enough to devour a gallon of ice cream in a single sitting, I believe that unhealthy food should be unavailable to the public.

Or, you could insert anything objectionable– alcohol, tobacco… anything…
