Today we took a little trip down the Middle Fork of the Clearwater River. We put into the river a little bit east of Kooskia and got out a little bit east of Kamiah. Here are some pictures:

For some reason all I can think with all your posts while you’re off in BFE is Laurel’s Quote: “Do you really think a bunch of shooting bloggers lead by Joe Huffman is going to go anywhere without the internet Mike?”
How right she was!

My guess is a year or two ago this place wouldn’t have had Internet. I expected I would have to drive into town to get a connection but it turns out we have free wireless in our cabin. The nearest cell phone service (AT&T) is 70 miles away but we have an Internet connection while sitting around the campfire.
Pssst, his name is spelt “Bryan”, Dad!
Thank you Xenia.
Fixed.
You have your Internet with Comcast up and running now! I can tell from your IP address. 🙂
That water looks like it’s moving along at a pretty clippy pace! We used to do that (tubing) in Florida but the river was a lot slower. (Probably warmer too.)
Beautiful area!
