Quote of the day–Thom Mannard

Despite the Supreme Court’s ruling today it is absolutely important to emphasize that the conservative majority held that strong and effective gun
laws are still constitutional and can be enacted

  1. I agree that if a gun law that was both strong AND effective in reducing crime could be found, likely conservatives would be in favor of it, but the caveat, which is lost on that unAmerican leftist, is that the law must be BOTH strong and effective, and as we have seen over the last 100 years around the world, laws that strongly limit gun ownership are always ineffective, and laws that are effective against crime never strongly limit gun ownership, The combination is like a flying submarine. He won’t notice his fallacious juxtaposition of the two irreconcilable concepts, because of sloppy reasoning, much as Leftists’ interpretation of the 8th amendment has been morphed from “cruel AND unusual” to “cruel OR unusual”. To concepts like “jumbo shrimp” and “military intelligence” we can add “leftist reasoning”.

  2. Sorry about the doubling, must be a worn sear; gotta watch our for that, can’t get busted for having a semi-automatic assault lap-top, now can we?
