Censorship

As I’ve said before, I buy banned guns and books.

I think proposed “assault weapon” bans should be viewed exactly the same as bans on books, magazines (unintentional pun), or videos. The same goes for import bans on firearms, it’s just another type of censorship.

Taking it a step further why isn’t a fully functional Ma Duce considered a work of art and given the same protections as any other piece of art or expression?

  1. I bought my 1st and only AR-15 because the Dems wanted to ban them. If they try to pass another I’ll make a point to make sure I’ve got two AR’s.

  2. I’m with you on the Ma Duce front. The Duce and the BAR I consider both to be beautiful machines amongst many others. Some see cold steel, I see something with serious soul and meaning. Though I think I look at machines like that partly because of the engineer in me. Function over forum. It could be the ugliest thing in the world, but if it does it’s job I don’t really care. A-10 Warthog is one of the coolest machines in the world.

  3. The Ma Deuce is not protected as fine art only because hippies and haplophobes are not afraid of paintings or poetry.
