  2. Voting is all well and good, but it’s an exercise in futility unless there’s a viable candidate that stands for liberty. When there’s only the giant douche verses the turd sandwich you might as well stay home. You’ve already been screwed. Taking control of the nomination process away from the Republicans is the only way it’s going to change. Otherwise we get another McLame or a Newt, et al and in that case you may as well vote for the real socialist rather than the poser. Since there’s not a Republican alive who understands what I’ve just written (and as far as I can tell there never has been) I’ll shut up and clean my guns, organize my ammo and magazines, etc., and wait.

And I’m getting pretty tired of this language– talk of “running the country” or of “running the economy”. The job of government is NOT to “Run The Country” goddamit. Their job is stay out of the way first and foremost, then protect property rights, and dispense justice. If we want to say the president for example, “Runs” Congress, that’s fine, but “Running The Country” is what socialists do (or try and fail to do). “Running The Country Into The Ground” is a better way of putting it. Even someone like Norris– I have to wonder if he’s really thinking about what he’s saying or just taking a position. There is a world of difference.

LMAO! Works on so many levels.
