They can always claim that by “properly trained adults” they meant LE and military. Same as they redefine “well regulated militia” as “heavily restricted civilians”. As there are no hard and fast truths or principles guiding them, they can weasel their way through any mere words.
Not that there’s anything to be gained from arguing with the enemies of liberty. The only things they understand are group identity and force.
