Quote of the day–Robert A. Heinlein

Do steers sign treaties with meat packers?

[Or should have the European Jews come to a “reasonable compromise” with Hitler in 1939? Or between a rapist or murderer and his victim? Similar questions could and should be asked before striking a deal with the gun grabbers. They want to destroy us and there is no compromise with their kind.–Joe]

  1. It isn’t even a “their kind” issue. It’s a trade issue. What can you offer to make them not want you dead, that they couldn’t just take when you’re dead anyway.

If group A wants me dead, obviously there’s not much that I have to bargain with, only way is to convince them it’s not worth it. My personal bargaining chip is hot lead, but that’s just me.

It’s just like the crazy people who tell women to give an attacker what he wants. WTF!? What planet are you people from!? The best thing to give an attacker is a swift dose of hot lead administered directly the head and chest. Repeat application till movement ceases.

Love the quote though, and Heinlein is my favorite Sci-Fi author. I want to read “The Puppet Masters” again, but I can’t find my copy.
