Quote of the day–Ben LaBolt

Obama’s eight years on the board of the Joyce Foundation, which paid him more than $70,000 in directors fees, do not in any way conflict with his campaign-trail support for the rights of gun owners.

[I say Wayne LaPierre’s years as the Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of the NRA would not in any way conflict with support of a national ban on handguns. And David Duke’s time as a Grand Wizard of the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan and his founding of the National Association for the Advancement of White People do not in any way conflict with his support for the rights of blacks.

I can only think of two alternatives:

  1. LaBolt thinks people will believe this even though he knows it isn’t true
  2. LaBolt believes this himself

Either way he has crap for brains.–Joe]

  1. Actually Joe, #1 and you’re wrong.

Think about it. He’s already called people bitter. He’s associated with a racist bigot for a preacher. He has a call for banning of all handguns IN HIS OWN HANDWRITING. Yet the man is still in the running for the candidacy. He could kill an infant on stage and drink its blood and his followers wouldn’t bat an eye.

Hope and change? He only hopes you won’t notice when he changes his stance on any particular topic.

  2. 3. LaBolt is hoping enough people are stupid enough to believe him, and that it will therefore make some difference. He’s going for the stupid vote.

It may work. History is in the past, and we should not dwell on the past, but look to the future. If you’re looking at Obama’s past, you are merely stuck in the past. The past is over, done. You and your ideas are over. America’s founding is over. Get over it and look to the future, yakkity yak yak, etc., etc..
