A new survey

Thanks to Tony for the email.

I’m glad this survey was done with private money rather than taxpayer money. The results are just as one would expect:

The only nit I have to pick with this poll is that it is “Sarah Brady” not “Sara Brady”. But I’m not in any position to criticize someone for their typos or spelling errors.

Update: Tony, being the consciences researcher that he is updated the image. If only the Brady Campaign and others of their ilk were so quick to correct their errors we wouldn’t have to do it for them.

  1. The one subset presented in this post cannot be considered to be a representative sample that tells us much about the entire set. I am surprised that you would expect your readers to accept such limited data for serious consideration. Clearly, no effective decisions regarding public policy, particularly in regard to the Second Amendment, can be made based on this one isolated study. I would be interested in seeing comparison studies done with other subsets. For example: Robbers, Pizza Hut Management, Pizza Hut Delivery Guys, and Normal People. Might we find somewhat different results, hmmm? I eagerly await further investigation that yields more useful data on this important subject.

  2. Morality, righteousness, decency, good vs. evil; these things are truths, a measurement of both personal and societal worth. Debates and validation of the Second Amendment is a means onto and end, often used by subversive forces in our society to cloud the true issues at hand. It is one thing to debate the meaning of law, it is quite another to debate the nature of vile iniquity. Every victim of a violent crime reveals a failure. A failure of men to teach their offspring right from wrong, a failure of society in which tolerance of such is less of the exception and more of the norm, a failure of thinking men and women of not doing the right thing, because it was the hard thing. Our women and children are being offered onto the sacrificial altar of groupthink; what we have today is less of an adherence to the value of our Constitutional and more of a holy war against the individual by people who have a complete lack of empathy for their fellow citizens. Sociopaths with societal influence in all by name only.

  3. I wish I had had a gun when my ex raped me. It would have saved alot money I’ve spent in therapy.

    I will buy a gun when I
    A) Get safety trained
    B) Know how to use one properly
    C) Can afford all of that.

  4. Meredith, I’m sorry to hear about your misfortune. I hope you were able to get some justice through the legal system and hope you get your training and appropriate self-defense tools to prevent a recurrance.
