Quote of the day–Louis D. Brandeis

Our government… teaches the whole people by its example. If the government becomes the lawbreaker, it breeds contempt for law; it invites every man to become a law unto himself; it invites anarchy.

Louis D. Brandeis
[Brandeis could have been talking about me. I’m a great believer in playing by the rules of your enemy. If the government declares me, via ignoring the law, their enemy then I figure I can play by the same (lack of) rules.–Joe]

  1. Brings to mind . . . Ruby Ridge, Idaho and Waco, Texas. Both government law breaking events. Just reinforces the fact that the Second Ammendment has nothing to do with “sporting” uses of fire arms.
