Make a difference on gun ownership views in the U.K.

I have been in contact with Alice (Catherine has taken over) at Firecracker Films in the context of Boomershoot. My family is not that good of a match because Alice Catherine wants children aged 12 and under. Does the following apply to you? This is your chance to make a difference in the British view of firearms.

  1. Well, the Mrs. doesn’t like to shoot (yet) and my girls are way to young, but even though my oldest just turned 5 on the 11th, she’s already anxious to be able to go to the range.

The other day she drew a bunch of circles on a piece of paper and gave it to me. I asked her what it was and she said “targets! For the range!”. I then had her repeat the three things she should do if she finds a firearm (don’t touch, leave the room, find an adult). Then she helped me clean my rifle and Glock 29.

I wonder if they’d like to see someone who’s trying to get his family shooting?

  2. Done. I’m kind of the “gun family in training”.

Not that I want to hurry through my children’s childhoods, but it will be nice when they’re old enough to go to the range with me. At 5 & 2, it’s just not a good age to entrust them with loaded firearms being that I can’t even entrust them with a half full glass of milk.
