“Many adults in the United States believe the current regulations regarding firearms are adequate…” Adequate for what, they do not say.
“Does the U.S. need stricter gun control laws?” For what purpose, they do not mention. Certainly every despotic government benefits from strict gun laws, so it depends on how you percieve the goal and function of government.
The question they do not ask is; “Do you believe the Bill of Rights should be enforced, or should Law makers and judges ignore it in favor of political expediency or personal feelings?” Now there’s a poll question I’d like to see.
